SUMMARY

Kate waters is a reporter for the daily Post and comes across a story about a baby’s skeleton that has been found in the in the old building’s garden of Howard street in London. Kate makes this story how new priority with the question she cannot stop asking herself “who is the building site baby?” Kate with her new intern Joe go to Howard street to try and hunt down some clues as to who the baby might be. On Howard street the construction workers are in full swing as she walks to a house across the road to find an old woman there named Miss Walker who was more then happy to give her some information about the work site manager who had found the baby. Kate soon finds herself deeply involved in the story when the site manager tells her about where the baby was found and who actually found it.

Emma is a woman who used to live on Howard street with her mother and in one of the apartments where the baby’s body was found. She is known to have mental issues dealing with depression and anxiety and with the story of the baby popping up she seems to be even more on edge. Starting to worry about if her mother had seen the story in the paper or not she phones Jude, her mother, that she has not talked to in ten years to see what she might know, which turns into a reunion, but not a very happy one where  Emma must now go and visit her mother. Once there they start to bring up the past about Will, Jude’s boyfriend at the time, and how she had chosen him or her sending Emma to go and live with her grandmother at the age of sixteen. Will had told Jude it was tough love and it needed to be done.

Kate finds a detective that she is still pretty good friends with at a party for a going away co-worker and they start to talk about the baby’s body being found at the building site. The baby’s body had been buried for thirty to forty years and the detective, Bob Sparks, says he can think of at least three cases where children were taken from their parents but never found but only one of the cases could be the baby that was buried in the ground. It was a case about Alice Irving, a newborn who had been taken from her mother’s hospital room while she went to take a shower and was never found.

Angela Irving had been following up on the baby’s story in the paper just knowing that it had to be her baby, Alice, but she was driving herself sick thinking about and her husband Nick was starting to get tired of her crying and making herself sick from worry about the baby. After so many years of waiting to find out what happened to baby Alice she thought at last she had finally found her poor little girl. When Kate came to her door Angela had been waiting for this day she kept every single piece of newspaper clipping that had anything to do with Alice’s disappearance, but there was no connection as to how baby Alice could end up all the way on Howard street, and Kate had her doubts but Kate urged her to call the Detective to see about getting a DNA test to find out if the baby really is Alice.

Once the DNA had been taken from Angela Irving they would have to wait on the results, but Kate had other plans, she could not just stand around and wait so she and Joe went to go look up names that used to live in the apartments by looking at the electoral voters that had registered at that address. When the DNA test finally came back a few days later it turned out that the baby was a match to Angela and the baby was Alice, she was happy she finally found her child or did she?

REVIEW

So I must say this book literally drove me insane I want to know what happened to the baby and who the baby was. Then they tell you who the baby is like 100 pages in but then you have to read through  260 more pages and you’re like what could possibly be in these pages, why am I still reading this. Then you get like two more drama bombs dropped on your head and you’re like well I guess I need to keep reading. Then the whole time I was forcing myself to finish reading the book I figured out the ending on my own before I even finished it so then it was kinda a let down but I was hyped I guessed the right ending.

The last 100 pages I literally threw my book I was so aggravated that this book made me want to finish it because there was so much talking and running around I just wanted to know about the baby. I just wanted to know what happened to the baby, but I still had to read about the drama with Kate and her family, Jude and Emma and Angela and her daughter and husband. Then there was a bunch of crap going on with Kate, her boss and DC Sinclair. I was just going crazy I finally made it to the last 10 pages and I was so done at that point I was just completely finished with this book but still I had to finish it.

Once I did finish it I was kinda feeling like this 360 page book could have been a 200 page book if you would cut out a bunch of the useless crap, like Kate and her son fighting. Is that really a thing that needs to be put in the book? Or Angela and her daughter going to the spa? Like I get that you are trying to make these characters seem like real people and telling about their lives but I mean this book should not be 360 pages long because I wasted a lot of time going around in circles when I could have just went straight to the point. A book should not make you want to stop reading it. I book should make you want to finish it, which I did but only because it was taking so freaking long to get to the point of the book.

The characters in this book are all very bland except of Emma I think. She seems to be the most interesting to me seeing as how she went through all this crap in her life but is still there trying to make the best of things and fighting for the truth. Jude I simply hate, like really how self centered can you be, you stole someone’s baby to force a man to stay with you? Kate seems to be jealous of her son and when he doesn’t do what she wants him to do she throws a fit about it. Angela I just thought was pretty okay she is one character besides Emma who actually grew as a person no longer letting Alice be her entire world and focusing on the two kids that she did have until later of course.

All and all if you like a good mystery book I say give it a try you might like it I cannot say it was a horrible book because I did want to finish it but I think you can skim a couple of pages and still get all the information you need. BUT ONLY read this book if you like mystery or real life books because that is really all there is to this book with a slight hint of drama. I can say I will be putting this book on a shelf and will probably never read it again because I did not enjoy it very much at all.

The Mask

The light flickers in the distance as the snow danced to the song of the howling wind and the restless trees, the sky was painted in the darkest blue and gray as the moon was fighting to be seen from behind the fortress of clouds that seemed to be unmoving. The wind and snow had already bitten all the warmth from Zuri’s face and was starting to cut through the cotton gloves that she was now cursing because she had chosen the cute cotton and lace over the fur and leather that would have kept her hands warm, why did she always fall for appearance first when it came to making decisions, it was one of her major flaws and she knew it was but she could never seem to overcome this ever losing battle. She could not think about that now she had come all this way for one reason and she could not let herself get cold feet now, she let a small chuckle escape through her shallow and labored breathing due to the fact that she really could not afford to get cold feet because she still had a little more walking to do and at this time of night if she stopped to rest and fell asleep she would surely freeze to death before anyone came close to finding her body when the sun would eventually shower the world with warmth once again.

The Mask she wore was one that nobody else have ever seen or had ever even known about, she had kept it her secret for so long she was beginning to lose herself, her true self. She knew she would have to do this even if she would lose the one person who had meant the world to her, he was the reason she was out here dragging herself through this frozen hell, ” So stupid” she kept repeating the words to herself, this whole idea, she should have just took some sleeping pills and forced herself to fall asleep so just for a few hours she could stop existing, it was all getting too far out of hand she could no longer handle this torture, waking up every morning to a new face. She forgot what it was like to look at her own face did she have freckles or not? What color were her eyes? What did her hair look like? These were the questions she would ask herself every night when she would lay awake staring at the ceiling.

The Mask was something she had just stumbled across at a flea market in a town down by the coast where her grandmother had lived, her grandmother had always warned her about finding things down by the coast she always told her scary stories about the ghost and spirits that haunted the wharf. She would tell her stories of a women who used to seduce men into her home and drink their blood to stay young and when their wives would come looking she would cast a spell on them so they would kill themselves in some of the most painful of ways. She used to love to listen to these stories when she was younger but the older she got the more she thought her grandmother was starting to lose her marbles.

She thought the Mask was so beautiful and mysterious  it was painted black as charcoal with matching feathers around the temples creating a cat eye effect, black lace with glitter was sewn onto the mask with swirls and jewels covering spots where the lace met together, around the eyes black and silver interlocked in a dance that made you look directly into them and the black satin ribbon that was used to tie the mask to you, it was so enticing like it was calling to her promising her that magical things would happen if she did and so she bought the stupid thing.

She had forgotten all about it until the day her grandmother died and she went back to her house to collect some of her stuff from the room she had when she stayed there, she remembered buying it and had never tried it on and once she did she noticed it the change her hair shifted to the color of black itself it was almost purple in certain light, her eyes were blue and gray almost white in a strange way, her skin was pale which she grew tired of due to everyone thinking she was ill all the time, but her lips were always a crimson red no matter how hard she tried to tone them down they always returned to that red and her eyes were always covered with black eyeliner and mascara with a gray and black eyeshadow to match, she thought she looked like a bit gothic but everyone was always drawn to her it was like her looks were more inviting and seductive rather than dark and scary.

She got bored with the fact that no matter what guy she asked out they all said yes and had done whatever she asked until the day she ran into Raiden who seemed to careless about how she looked or what she wanted, they worked together on a book editing project for one of her close friends but her boss had made Raiden tag along and she soon found him to be the worst person in the world until the day they were both going to kill each other, or so she had thought he had back her against the wall of the hotel elevator and she was just about to raise her knee straight into his privates when he crushed his mouth against hers and she lost all of her feeling. It was a kiss that made everything vanish around them, it was a hungry kiss, one that had been building for so long she could not help but let him come back to her room. The next morning he had still been there and told her how crazy she drove him and how much he needed her and surprisingly she felt the same way.

That was why she had to do this she had to tell him the woman that he loved was not her, that the mask she wore was one of lies and once she told him he would find her crazy more and likely but she had to tell him let him see the true her even if she had to wear this mask for the rest of her life and he would never get to see the person she used to be, the one she asked herself about every night she could not lie to him anymore. She was going to tell him and even if he thought she was completely and broke up with her she knew he had the right to know, she would make him see the real her, make him see that she was serious.

I think cliffhangers are the best don’t you ❤

Come back tomorrow for the rest of the story!

The True soul of a monster: part 2

The sea was cold and black just like everything else in her life, dull and cold, she refused to let anything into her life even her sister, she cared for her dearly yes but she could not love her something broke inside her the day her parents died. They had all been so happy and carefree for most of their lives, mother who would do nothing all day besides knit and read books before the fireplace, father who would manage his business from his office at home. Sweet sister and her playing on the rug in the living room while Copper, the stray dog who found its way into the house and their family, lay curled up next to them. Everything was perfect until that winter night, the snow storm was the worst they have ever had, they lived so far away from town that mother and father day to travel by horse to get them supplies to last until the snow would melt. She remembered being curled up in front of the fireplace with her sister shivering with copper in the middle of them sharing his warm golden fur with them. Mother and father had left early that morning but they still had not come back even after hours of waiting, then night fell and the sun rose the next morning, one of the horses that had carried her parents came back that morning and was frightened they could barely get the poor dear back into the barn.

The horse was covered in scars and claw marks that both of the girls knew all too well, it was the marks of the snow wolves that hunted in this part of the lands, the girls had lost their older brother to the wolves two years ago she remembers the grim look on father’s face as he walked back to the house with brothers gun and the scream that came from mother followed by sobs is something that haunted her dreams even now. Their neighbor had come to see then a day or two later, he had mother’s purse slung across the back of his horse’s saddle. That was when she felt it the drift in her soul, the breaking in her chest, she could not cry or scream, or move she just shut down. Her sister sobbed into her hands as Clint handed over the bag to her with a look on his face that told us exactly what we both had already knew.

Clint helped both of them taking on the role of their lost uncle, while sister became a copy of mother always telling her what to do and how and when, with no room for argument. Which did not bother her as much as she thought it would, no her and sister were always close and sister would always tell her what to do any ways.

She was snapped back into her body as the laughing filled her head once more. Oh my sweet darling, do you not like what you see. No one ever does my dear, this is you underneath that pretty face and human flesh you are as much a monster as me. You can not escape me, you cannot run from me.

She realized that the voice in her head was right, she could not run or fight. She was this monster, this horrible disgusting thing that stood before her, was her.  The empty chest, the bloody claws, the hollow eyes, everything, it was all her and the way she chose to live her life. She thought she was going to be sick, how could she be this thing, how could she fall so deep into despair.

Sister, I know that you are scared to let someone near you, but it is okay, because no matter how scared you are to love someone, I will just have to love you twice as hard. You can push me away and fight me tooth and claw, but I will always be here right beside you, I will hold on to you no matter what, you may not be my child by birth but after raising you for so long, you are mine dear sister and I will not let you push me away.

That was voice the one that she knew far too well filled her head, the voice that was sweet as honeysuckle and soft as a cloud, it was a voice of pure love. Her sister’s voice filled her head and the image of her being pinned down by her sister after they had been fighting about why she refused to love anyone even charming Rayden, who day after day still stood by her side even if he knew how broken she was. Her sister screamed at her to understand that she was loved even if she refused to love anyone else.

She felt it, the hot tears that spilled from her eyes and dripped into the blackness before her. She was this heartless monster but yet they still love her. They both still fought for her, trying to bring her into the light and out of this darkness that surrounded her. Maybe this is how everyone truly saw her and she was just now seeing it herself, but if they could love her even in this disgusting, broken form, then just maybe.

“I am not afraid of you. I know that you are me, just as I am you. I might be terrified of you but I know that you are just as terrified of me. For I am the thing of your nightmares, you refuse to love because you are scared of losing love, therefore you have no heart but I do. You hollow out your eyes so you can only see the black in life, but I see everything, all the colors that make you wither away to your hole of black. Your claws drip with blood from all the fighting you do to keep others away, but I let them in, I crave their touch even if I do not want it, I need to feel their love even if I hate it. That dagger on your tail is your way of dealing with your problems by slicing through them so they can no longer exist. I hold these daggers to defend myself so that no one else may hurt me, I do not slice through my problems I run from them I run from everything that crosses me. I am your nightmare just as you are mine.”

You sweet darling doe are the first to ever except my form. You are the first to stare at your true self and not crumble from the fear and disgust that is truly you. So now I just have one question for you. What will you do now? Will you continue to run from your fears? Will you keep pushing others away? Will you ever learn to love? Will you truly become me? Or, will you fight? Will you try to change your ways and become something more than this, something more than me?

She opened her eyes to see the beast that stood before her once again and stared at that one blue eye, and seen the tears sliding down its face, this beast that she had created did not ask to be made this way. It did not ask to be turned into this demon, it was her fault that she was destroying herself. She walked toward the beast slowly with every shaking step echoing off the walls of the cave. She touched the leather skin that made her stomach flip and roll inside her, she wiped away the tears that slid from the eye so much like her mother’s.

“I will change for the both of us. I will fix this brokenness that resides in both of us if you just let me have that stone. I. . . I just want to save my sister. . . please she is the only thing I have left in this world.” The beast before her stood tall and straighten so it now towered over her.

My darling you are already changing. You came here to face me. You did not run from your fears. You put the love you feel for your sister before yourself. You tried not to love but yet you have my dear. I will let you take the stone if you keep your promise to change, but not for me but for yourself.

“I promise. . . I promise to try.” The beast raised a claw to wipe away the tears that slid down her face, she tried not to flinch as the touch of the cold metal claw. Then the beast spoke softly into her mind once more as it handed her the stone of life that would save her sister’s life.

You are bound by the bond of promise to change for better, for not only me but for yourself. I look forward to seeing you change and maybe you could stop by again, if the fear does not consume you. If you break your bond to me I will find you and your sister I will take back the life that I so freely gave to you my darling.

“Yes, I will keep my bond” She took one last look into the eye of her mother and turned to what she assumed was the door of the cave then the two spirit’s that danced before her, leading the way back to home.

I wish you the best on your journey to a life that will make you happy and fill your soul with hope my darling.

She turned to take one last look into the cave but there was nothing there and she could now see the cave in the light as she turned and found the cave entrance to be shimmering in the bright light of the moon. the cave being no deeper than a closest in her home. She would have thought it all a dream if it were not for the purple rock that laid in her hand but there was something else as she looked at her wrist she seen a small black heart, like a tattoo was just place upon her. She rubbed the mark and yet it still remained. Then like a whisper being carried on the wind she felt the slightest tingle in her right ear as the words filled her mind once more

This is our deal and the heart reminds you not to forget. My darling I will be seeing you again. Always watching you. You must remember the deal we have made fore I would hate to take the one thing you love from you, but hear me when I say that I will without hesitation. She sucked the night air into her lungs and ran for their house.

Once she made it to the golden warm glow of the cabin lights she could see copper waiting in the window patiently as if he had never moved from the spot since she left. Just like a mother hen she thought as she slung the door open and fell to her knees on the floor before her sister that was shaking so uncontrollably, she was freezing from the inside but the she was drenched in sweat burning up on the outside.

She pressed the stone to her sister’s heart and spoke softly like her sister always had to her.

“Emily, I am so sorry. I have always pushed you away and pushed away anyone you tired to love. I . . .  I just need you to come back. I love you Emily. . .  I really do love you. So please come back to me. I need you to be here with me.”

She tried to hold back the tears that now flowed down her face and choked back the sobs as she kept waiting for something to happen, anything to happen. She laid her head down on her sisters folded hand and cried into the covers that laid upon Emily. She was giving up, she knew this could not work, this was a stupid idea all along. It was then that the bright purple light filled the cabin as the warm blast waved through her, Copper was there at her side barking demanding whatever threat was there to leave them alone, but as soon as it happened it was gone. The light was sucked away into her sister as she watched the purple glow settle beneath the golden skin of her sister that was just white and pale as a ghost.

She breathing flattened out, the shaking slowly stopped and the sweat that soaked every inch of her skin was gone. She stared down at her sister and Copper was sniffing around Emily as if trying to find that purple light again. Emily’s eyes fluttered open those green eyes flecked with golden spots as they searched the room around her until they landed on her face.

“Elya? What happened? Why are we. . .?

“Emily! I love you. I love you so much Emily. I do. Please do not ever leave me again please!”

She cried into her sister’s arms as the warm soft touch of Emily’s love warped itself around her and held her tightly and kissed the top of her head.

“I always knew you did my little Elya all you had to do was try”

Well I finished it finally. Sorry I have been away for so long it has been a long couple of months with moving houses and family happening. Just crazy but I am back now and I will try to keep posting one story a day. So keep a lookout for tomorrow’s story!

The Demon and Her Heart: Eliya and the Orb the End

The eyes of the fire demon were just as she remembered she dreamed about herself falling into those eyes and being surrounded by pure black dark with no way out. She looked to Graven and Rydan to see that their faces showed no fear but she knew that at least some small part of them should be a little scared but they showed nothing she seen the look on their faces the look of a warrior who looks death in the face and does not shy away from their demons. She too would face this demon and if she were to die today then so be it. The demon showed its teeth that were bathed in the blood of their brothers and sisters of the land and it only fueled her rage just as she was about to go for a full scale attack she heard the voice in her head a quite calming ancient voice that spoke softly but clearly.

“I am Azeon do not be alarmed but I have temporarily mind linked Graven, you and the glowering brute who could use a hair cut, I have come up with a plan for you three if you can all use your powers together you might just be able to make this work or at least your death will be painless.”

“umm thanks I guess.” Eliya was listen to the voice and heard the low warning growl that came from Rydan about Azeon’s remark about his hair.

“Now listen kids, Eliya you will need to use your water magic every second you can we are not looking for hard hits here we just need you to try and put as much of the fire out as you can. Brute boy you will use that dirty magic of yours and try to hold that beast in one spot as best as you can, you don’t want little miss water drop here getting all dried up from one hit by that demon now would you and lastly Graven you will use you sky magic to lock the air around the demon in small spots just like we practiced you can now withstand many air locks being held at once so were Eliya spray them you keep them from flaming back up.”

Eliya was thinking about everything the ancient voice was saying as she was running to the nearest puddle of water earlier today Rydan had created a hole in the earth so she could summon the water from a well that was running underground. She summoned the water fast and hard she started slinging the water in fluid motions while trying to keep moving lucky for her Rydan had taught her how to keep moving and how to hit a moving target and the demon was not even moving not yet atleast.

She looked the Rydan to see the monster’s feet slowly slipping into the soft muddy ground and then as too giant clamps came up from the ground and grabbed the monster by its waist holding it in place for good but she could see the strain on Rydan’s face and the sweat dripping from his head he was fighting very hard to hold this beast in his trap of earth they would need to act fast if they wanted to win this battle.

Graven was in the sky using his air magic to try and keep the beast attention focused on him as he was sending out air locks to try and keep the flames on the demon’s tail and most of his back from coming back to life. She could see the pained look on his face trying to keep himself in the air guarding all of their ears and keeping all of these air locks in place it had to be tough and all she was doing was throwing water.

Useless she thought how could she be so useless her grandmother used to tell her stories of how her mother used to battle the demons that broke through the wall and it was so easy for her that was why great grandfather had married her. If only she could have learned that power too learned from a true water property elder she could put this demon out in one strike. She would too she summoned the rest of the water from the well to follow her as she ran behind the beast she was trying to summon all her magic that she had stored inside her as she came to a stop right behind a demon she had stopped just for just a second to catch her breath but was cut short when she left a massive wall of heat come slamming into her right side she was sent flying across the ground and landed about ten feet from where she was standing as she laid on the ground trying to get her breath back and trying to find some of her magic to put on her arm that felt like it was burning from the inside out.

“Brute stay where you are we must keep the beast locked in place or else it will kill her if it gets free!”

“I will not stand here and let her die laying on the ground before me!”

“He is right Rydan she will be okay I can see her from where I am she is breathing.”

“I . . . I. . . am. . fine” She was wheezing as she got back to her feet and noticed that from her hip down along the side of her body had been burnt off good thing her undergarments had managed to withstand the hit she thought that the pants had taken most of the heat before the water had made its way to her finally. The beast was now threshing breathing fire everywhere like a wild animal caught in a trap she was sure if the air covering her ears was not around them her eardrums would be busted and bleeding by now.

“Rydan, Graven I need you to follow my plan. Fuse your magic with mine we only have one shot at this.”

Eliya then summoned that water that covered the ground but she first made it soften the earth collecting as much mud as possible with the help of Rydan she lifted the water/mud mixture to the face of the demon and dropped it directly on its face and dripped it down its back that was when Rydan hardened the mud and Graven had sent in a fierce burst of wind to set the rock as if it were a work of art. Eliya ran to the underbelly of the beast and summoned the water from the ground beneath her and sent the water straight up into the heart of the demon Graven was quick to notice her movements and set the air lock into place before she even had time to ask him to then as if out of instinct the giant form of land in the shape of a giant dagger pointed straight at the demon’s heart. She summoned with the lasting power of her magic the water that laid on the ground around the hole where the well was and sent it spinning around the end of the dagger like a giant drill and Graven had sent the biggest gust of wind to make the dagger fly faster than Rydan could push it straight into the damon’s heart Eliya was blow back out from under the demon and dug her nails into the ground to keep from being blown away.

She watched as the monster stilled and fell to the ground where they let it lay for a few minutes.

“Young ones listen now one of you will need to seal the demon in the orb before it awakens from its slumber, but the price of this orb is not a light one. You will need to give you life in order to save the lives of the ones around you.”

Her eyes filled with tears why must everything turn to death. After all they have done to save the rest of their people and the towns around them one of them still must die. Graven released them of their air locks and the sounds of the world returned to her as she watched him slowly walk toward the demon, before he stopped in his tracks with eyes of worry fixed upon the demon. She slid her eyes to the monster that now started to stir she felt her stomach sink and her mouth go dry they were too late, but the monster was not waking it was shrinking or morphing into something else.

She watched as the demon that was made of fire and full of destruction turn into something different. She got to her feet only to fall back to the ground as she crawled her way over to the thing that now laid on the ground before her, she looked into the eyes of someone who had meant the world to her and now this. She seen his dark black raven hair that was alway cut short on one side and went down to his ear on the other where he wore grandmother’s earring. It was Zayden, all these years searching for him and he was taken over by this beast but why, how? He opened his eyes and stared at her with a soft smile on his face he reached a hand to cup her face and wipe her tears that were coming out uncontrollably.

“Hi there little Eli. My how I have missed you and how much you have grown. I am sorry I almost killed you I was not myself but it is a good thing Rydan was there to save you.” He looked over the Rydan who was staring at them with disbelief.

“I cannot stay for long fore I must right the wrong that I placed upon this world. Azeon told me what must be done while I was caged inside the demon. I will give my life to make the orb to seal the monster away forever.”

“No! Zayden please don’t go! I need you! You’re the only thing I have left! Please don’t leave me!” She started to tremble at the thought of losing him again.

“Little Eli if I don’t do this I will still be sealed inside the orb the demon has taken hold of my body I am the demon I can no longer live in this world. I love you but this is what must be done.”

“Then I’ll go too, I will make to orb and give up my life!”

“Little Eli I cannot let you do that Rydan promise you will take care of my sister.” Rydan gave his old friend a soft smile and took hold of Eliya as he drug her away from Zayden’s body. She tried to fight away the hand of Rydan but his grip was not one of hate or hurt but of care and sorrow.

Graven walked over to Zayden’s body and spoke the words of Azeon.

“Hear me dark one and repeat after me. I am the demon who cursed this land although this is not my will. Take this demon and seal my soul with its blood free the world from me and return the life back to this place and may I remain in slumber once again.”

Zayden spoke the words and Eliya screamed and pleaded for him to stop.

“Little Eli you must be strong for me and for our family. You must go on and live for all of us. I love you little Eli.”

Then the bright red light just as she had remembered it from two and a half years ago then everything went dark.

When Eliya awoke Rydan was still holding her to his chest and she had seen the wetness in the edge of his eye. She knew he did not want to hold her back that he wanted to stop Zayden as much as she did but Rydan had always been very bright and he knew just as she did there was no other way. Graven was sitting on the ground next to them staring at the spot where Zayden body used to lay but now there was nothing not even an orb.

“What . .  what happened to the orb?”

“Azeon took control of my body while I was backed out and returned the orb to the mountain from where it had came from but he promised to hide it deeper so no one would ever find it again.”

She felt the grip of Rydan tighten as reassuring her that he was not dumb he knew they were the cause of all the death that had occurred and that he did not blame her. She turned to look into those blue eyes to see no hate just love as she turned to Graven who now sat there as if his life had ended before him. His whole life had led to this moment and now he was once again lost.

“Graven why don’t you join me and Rydan on our journey. I think that we should use our magic to go bring back life to the towns that have been destroyed with my water your and and Rydan’s earth we can do great things. So what do you say will you join us?”

She looked into his purple eyes once again and seen the shock that someone had actually asked him what he would like to do instead of telling him.

“I think I would like that very much that you.”

She looked up to the blue sky as if it were the bluest it has ever been. These boys would be her new family, her new life, and her new strength. She would keep living for her family that were not given the choice and these boys would keep her alive as long as they didn’t kill each other before then.

Okay so that is the end let me know what you think about the ending. Were you happy, sad, disappointed. I was kinda upset about the battle with the demon :/ I just did not know how to make the demon fight without killing everyone and make everyone seem to be doing a lot of magic at the same time. Well any ways hope you liked it.
